Alzheimer's disease is a progressive, degenerative disease of the brain that results in impaired memory, thinking, behaviour and a gradual decline in physical and mental functioning.

It is not a normal part of aging.  At the present time, the cause is unknown and there is no cure. This fatal disease is the fourth leading cause of death in Canada.

In Guelph and Wellington County over 1,500 people are afflicted with Alzheimer's disease.

New Website Addition: Just 4 Kids

Just 4 Kids is a new addition to our website where kids can have fun and learn all about Alzheimer Disease at the same time. The DoRIGHTERS have a family member with Alzheimer Disease and they don't know what to do. You can help them learn to DoRIGHT by working through activities with them.

Thank you to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan for providing this wonderful learning tool.
